Daymons Hair & Wigs is one of the oldest established hair salons in Barnstaple.

Catering for all you hairdressing needs including dry cuts, wet cuts, colouring, perms, setting, blow drying, long hair, short hair, bridal and prom hair.

We have our main salon on the ground floor with easy excess for wheel chairs. We also have one special basin for people that cannot lean back to have their hair washed. This is extra to the normal basins.

On the upper floor, we have a private room used for wig consultations. Sue also offers it to people that are not comfortable in a salon environment. It is a fully fitted hair salon, so can offer full salon services. Appointments for this service have to be pre-arranged with Sue.

Also on the upper floor is a beauticians offering:

  • Threading
  • Waxing
  • Indian head massage
  • Manicuring
  • Pedicure

Opening times for Daymons Hair & Wigs can be flexible these would need to be pre-arranged with Sue.

Call (01271) 343689 ask for Sue to ring you back to arrange appointment.

NHS Patients
Sue supplies wigs for NHS Patients as an agent for Banbury Postiche. A small number of wigs are kept in stock.  NHS Patient appointments are arranged through the hospital.

Private Customers
Private wig appointments can be arranged in the salon, this would include 2 x 2 hour appointments.  A consultation fee is required before the appointment, this will be taken off the final price for the wig. You do need to pre-book an appointment.

Products
We use L’Oreal products within the salon, stocking a small amount of products including Nioxin a treatment for hair loss. We can order in any product that we don’t have in stock – orders are placed on Thursdays and the product will arrive Friday pm.

Welcome
You will always be given a warm welcome on entering the salon. We will always try our best to make you an appointment that suits you. Appointments are not always necessary, we will do our best to fit you in on the same day, so it’s always worth popping in to ask.
